Many popular weekend escapes are well within the range of today's electric cars. Here are some ideas, with approximate one-way road distances. Charge at your destination or on the way back, and you are set.
Distances are approximate and depend on your route. Real range drops at highway speeds, with air conditioning, and on steep climbs. Always check your car's range and plan a backup charging stop.
