After every session you get a receipt in the app or on your phone. Here is what the typical items mean, so you can check your charge and understand what you paid for.
Station details
- Station name and address: where you charged.
- Charger and gun number: useful if you need to report a problem.
- Session or transaction ID: quote this when contacting support.
Time
- Start and end time of the session.
- Duration: how long the car was connected or charging.
Energy
- Energy delivered (kWh): the amount of electricity that went into your car, measured by the charger's meter. This is usually the main basis of the price.
- Meter start and end readings, on some receipts.
Price
- Rate: the price per kWh, or per minute where time-based pricing applies.
- Energy charge: energy × rate.
- Idle or parking fee, if the car stayed plugged in after charging finished, where this applies. See idle fees.
- Taxes: GST and any other applicable charges.
- Total: the final amount paid, in rupees or EVee Buddy Coins.
Why the energy may differ from your car's display
Your car may show a slightly different number. The charger measures energy delivered at the plug, while the car shows what reached the battery after small losses, or an estimate based on the change in battery percentage.
If something looks wrong
- Check the session ID, time and station.
- Contact support through Help & Support in the app, with a screenshot of the receipt.
- If a session failed because of a station issue, unused coins are returned to your balance under our refund policy.
